Do we care?

There have been times when we tend to neglect our children when we got so busy. But I think we should try our best to make all things in all situations to be on the right track. Many parents do not think that at a young age of nine or ten, a child could never manage to think for themselves. Children are left alone at home to take care of themselves or maybe living with a maid most of the time. Do you think these children don’t have a mind to think or a heart to feel? Children will feel lonely or maybe this will lead them thinking why their parents don’t care for them. I see many of these children have a life on their own, wandering around with friends or maybe some will get addicted to the computer and games most of the time. Things will be worst if this children mix with the wrong people. The more this situation prolong during their growing period, this children will lead to a world of their own without any guidance of meaningful balance lifestyle. Maybe this parent will tell their children this is their time to earn more money or maybe this parent just have a love for their own life than they should give to their children.
Some children are left with grandparent which this children will later throw tantrum on their poor grandparent. Parents should really have a full responsibility for their own flesh and blood. Even if they left their children for their grandparent to take care, it is different kind of love that share among them. Not all children could accept this. All children have their individual character and habit. So as a parent we need to be really careful to think about how they feel too. I always make this as my first priority. I feel that children have their way of thinking. If you do not look into this, what will they grow up to be? How these children will be in the future is depend on how the parent moulds them to be.
I wonder where are those day when we are young and our parents are so busy with their work but still have some quality time for us. Spend some time for dinner or maybe supper. I just love those days when we can spend those special moments with our parents. I always miss those times even until today, I still mention it to my mom. She really is my great mom. And all that she had done for us are unconditioned. I want her to know she had done a great job to be a 101% mom.
I hope God will always guide me to be more patience and grant me the energetic and healthy self to take care of my children and family.
